Detailed Day-Wise Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrive at Raithal/Natin Village
Altitude: 7,100 ft |
Duration: 7–9 hours |
Drive: 180–190 km |
Your Himalayan adventure begins with a beautiful drive from Dehradun to Raithal, the starting point of the trek. The road journeys along the Bhagirathi River, winding through pine-covered valleys, terraced farmlands, and traditional Garhwali villages.
On the way, you’ll pass through Uttarkashi town, the cultural and spiritual hub of the region, dotted with ancient temples and the bustling local market. As the altitude rises, the air turns crisp, and the snow-capped Gangotri range slowly reveals itself.
By late afternoon, you’ll reach Raithal village (2,100M) – a serene Himalayan hamlet known for its stone-roofed houses, warm hospitality, and apple orchards. After check-in at your homestay, enjoy hot tea while gazing at the mountains glowing in the evening sun.
In the evening, our trek leader conducts a safety briefing, gear check, and acclimatization walk. You’ll also get to interact with locals and learn about Garhwali culture and traditions. Dinner is served with simple but delicious home-cooked food.
Sleep early – tomorrow, your trek to the alpine meadows begins.

Day 2:
Raithal To Gui
Altitude: 3000 m |
Duration: 3-4hours |
Trek: 4-5 km |
Wake up to Himalayan sunshine and the sound of mountain birds. After a hearty breakfast, we start our trek from Raithal. The trail ascends gradually through dense oak and rhododendron forests. In spring, these forests turn into a red and pink paradise when rhododendrons bloom.
The path is shaded but occasionally opens into clearings that offer glimpses of the snow peaks. You may encounter Himalayan langurs, woodpeckers, or mountain goats along the way.
By afternoon, we arrive at the Gui Campsite (2,948M). This is one of the most beautiful campsites on the trek – a mix of small grass patches, forest edges, and clear skies above. From here, you get your first close-up views of Mt. Srikanth and Gangotri range.
After lunch, relax at the campsite, enjoy evening snacks, and soak in a mesmerizing sunset over snow peaks. At night, the sky bursts into millions of stars – a perfect chance for astrophotography.

Day 3:
Gui To Dayara -Back To Chilapda/Gui
Altitude: 3800m |
Duration: 6-7 hours |
Trek: 10-12 km |
This is the highlight of the trek – Summit Day! We start early to catch the sunrise from the meadows. The trail climbs gradually, opening into the vast expanse of Dayara Bugyal – one of the largest high-altitude meadows in Asia.
Here, the landscape changes dramatically. Rolling alpine grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see, with snow-peaked mountains forming a stunning backdrop. In summer, the meadows are dotted with wildflowers, while in winter, it turns into a natural ski slope with thick snow cover.
As you reach Dayara Top (3,750M), the entire Gangotri range, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Srikanth, Draupadi Ka Danda, and Jaonli reveal themselves in full glory. The 360° Himalayan panorama is one of the finest in Uttarakhand.
Spend time here capturing photos, enjoying packed lunch, and breathing in the crisp mountain air. After soaking in the views, we descend back to Chilapada campsite for the night.
Evening is spent celebrating the successful summit with the team.
